On June 22, 2022, at approximately 9:12 p.m., Chino Police Traffic Officers investigated a collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck that occurred on Benson Avenue between Philadelphia Street and the SR 60 overcrossing.
The driver of the motorcycle was identified as, Troy Anthony Engleton, 33-year-old Chino resident who was found in the roadway unconscious. Chino Valley Fire personnel performed life saving measures and transported him to Chino Valley Medical Center where he ultimately died of his injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was interviewed and was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Traffic investigators are seeking witnesses who may have seen the collision.
