CERT Basic Training is a free, hands-on emergency preparedness training program taught by first responder personnel and subject matter experts.

All participants must be 18 years of age or older (16 -17 years of age allowed with parent/guardian permission). Participants will receive a free backpack, helmet, CERT vest, and certificate upon completion of the course. To receive a certificate of completion, participants must attend all sessions and participate in the disaster simulation. Arrangements can be made to make-up sessions. Classes will take place at the Chino Police Department as well as the Chino Valley Fire Training Center (depending on the topic covered).
