State Legislative Priorities

The City of Chino tracks consequential state legislative bills in accordance with the Citywide Legislative Policy.  With the assistance of the League of California Cities and the City’s contract state lobbying firm, Gonsalves & Son, the City's position on key bills are communicated to Chino's State Senate and State Assembly representatives. Additionally, while the City generally engages in state legislative issues, the City may also submit its formal support or opposition on other matters occurring independent of the California State Legislature (e.g., proposed ballot initiatives).

To best organize those instances where the City of Chino has taken formal positions on legislative or policy matters, provided below are formal letters or other means of expression occurring within a respective state legislative session.
