Garden & Cooking Workshops
Through Healthy Chino, the City is proud to offer a variety of gardening workshops throughout the year. Workshops are presented in partnership with Green Chino, and the University of California Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Program. All workshops are held at the Chino Community Garden, 5976 Riverside Drive. For more information, call 909-334-3478.

- April 15, 2023: Container Gardening, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
- May 20, 2023: Garden Bugs & Pests, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
- June 17, 2023: Peppers & Chilies, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
- July 15, 2023: Gardening Through a Drought, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
At the Children's Discovery Workshops, participants learn about nutrition, physical activity, science, reading, and other subjects through fun and interactive garden-themed activities and crafts. Workshops are presented in partnership with the City of Chino and Master Gardeners of San Bernardino County. Themes vary monthly and pre-registration is required. - June 17, 2023: Bell Peppers & Chilies, 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
- July 15, 2023: Summer Gardening, 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Learn to prepare healthy meals and enjoy delicious creations during these hands-on cooking workshops. Participants will also learn smart grilling techniques. All materials, including food and drinks, are provided. Workshops are held at the Chino Community Garden, 5976 Riverside Drive from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
