Chino Police Department

Officers of the Chino Police Department are actively looking for a Hispanic male suspect who abducted a female high school student at gun point this morning. The 15-year-old student was walking to school at approximately 6:20 am when she was abducted and released unharmed shortly thereafter.

The student was approached from behind in the 13200 block of Ballestros Avenue (near Chino and Ramona Avenues) and forced into a silver/gray 2-door vehicle at gun point. The suspect drove around the block where he attempted to sexually assault her. After searching her bag and patting her down, the suspect released her in the area where she was initially abducted.

The suspect is described as a light skinned Hispanic male, in his late 20’s or early 30’s, approximately 5’8” tall, and wearing a light gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt with dark pants. He was wearing the hood, wire rimmed glasses and was clean shaven. Anyone with information regarding this case is urged to contact Detective Infusino at 909-591-9861.

 

 

Chino Police Department Seeks Suspect
in Recent Homicide

The Chino Police Department is seeking assistance in locating a suspect wanted for questioning in a homicide that occurred on Saturday, March 15, at approximately 2:45 am in the 11800 block of Monte Vista Avenue.

The victim, Eduardo Cervantes, 20 years old of Chino, was stabbed during an altercation outside a residence where a party was taking place. Cervantes died of his wounds later that morning at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton.

The Police Department is seeking the whereabouts of David Moreno Hermosillo, 19 years old of Ontario, as well as a vehicle associated with this crime. The vehicle is a 1999 Honda Civic, red in color, California license plate 4WLZ592.
